Grosse Pointe - The Grosse Pointe Hockey Association is offering special recognition to those hockey players who excel in academics. GPHA is continuing a 15+ year tradition with the Jack McSorley Scholastic Achievement Award in the Squirt, Pee Wee, Bantam and Midget divisions.

We will honor those players who have earned a 3.2 GPA or better with a medal, a certificate, and listing on the website. The awards will be presented at Closing Day Ceremonies Sunday 3/13/2010.  In order to meet this timeline, please complete the form by February 22nd.

In order for a player to be eligible, complete the form at the link below and fax a copy of the player’s report card to (313) 422-0955.

The number you fax the document from needs to match the fax number you indicate on the web form. The card can be from the Fall of 2009 or Winter 2010. If your childs school doesn't have report cards, please send a statement from the teacher stating an equivalent standing on a 4.0 scale.
