There should be no parent/player games or non-rostered players on the ice or behind the bench during practices or games. These situations invalidate insurance.

A. All ice hockey coaches and instructors of registered USA
Hockey youth, high school, disabled, girls/women’s
19&under and below programs must wear an ice hockey
helmet during all on ice sessions, including practices,
controlled scrimmages and coach and referee clinics
(seminars), with the exception of when a team official is
tending to an injured player. Any team personnel found in
violation of this rule by their District Council shall be subject
to a recommended suspension of not less than 30 days.
